The dog wondered what happened to the tree. It was up there and now down here. He looked back and forth at the big tree and at the miniature version on the floor. He paced to and pro going around it. Sniffing curiously and assessing carefully.’ This will do.’ he thought. He raised one of his hind legs and peed on it.
True story.

Bad doggie!
Sana akin na lang ang painting na yan…
Hi ate joff!
Hi hahaha. That’s Babar. Our baby. He likes peeing on trees and bushes.
HI Babar!!! π
But I still want the painting π¦
Why oh why pee on something so beautiful?
Hahaha!
That made me laugh! I have a dog that pees on anything, including his big sister, if it stays still long enough!
Hahaha! Aren’t they adorable! π
Funny story – I hope the painting wasn’t harmed. It’s beautiful!
Thank you π I love this dog to bits! He can do no wrong in my eye. I took it as a compliment when he peed on the painting. Painting is safe π I cleaned it with water. the oil made it water proof. Looks likes I am keeping this painting though. π I don’t want to sell it with undisclosed secret ingredient.
Babar thought it was a real tree.. ehehehehe.. nice doggie…
Hahaha! You got that huh!
i thought Babar was part of the painting.. i was looking at the picture for more than 30 seconds just to confirm it…
Hahaha:-)
ha ha ha……It was thinking about the position to pee !!!! lol…
Hhaha yeah. I am sorry for the late reply. I didn’t know why your comments ended on the spam box. Good thing I checked it today. Thanks for stopping by.
Thank you for making my comment live from spam box. Maybe word-press doesn’t like the word “Pee” i think π .
Hahaha! Most probably. WP is so strict. Haha.:-)

Hi Jofelyn…I have to say this is one of the shortest short stories I have ever read and definitely one of my favorites. I think I like it because it allows so many angles to ponder. Please count me among your followers.
Thank you for stopping by my blog. I’m immensely flattered that someone with so much talent would take the time.
Thank you Rich. My dogs is gold mine for stories like these. I have learned a lot by observing him. Their primal instincts are not so different from humans. I saw your blog in the Philippine tags. It was interesting what you said about Labor day. I didn’t know US celebrates labor day in Sept. and I also agree on your point of view. The title was eye catching and so is the photograph. Beautiful but somewhat poignant. I meant to leave that comment on your post but sometimes I am overcome with shyness. Your blog have that official vibe, I mean formal? Most blogs I read are somewhat intimate emotion wise. I’m glad you left a comment and proved me otherwise. π
Thanks Jofelyn for your feedback. I’m new to this and am still trying to find my way and my voice. You’re comments are always welcome. π
